A very quality shell

I purchased this case for 10 and have to say now in retrospect it would have been me 20 value. The build quality is really very neat. No filaments or other defects. The envelope consists of two layers. Outside Neoprene (and thus water-repellent) and from the inside a very soft and "fluffy" material. Do not worry, the stuff inside is not fluff, but also as far as I can tell, no cleansing effect. The two layers of material seem to be glued to each other and the edges / edges are stitched / sewn. The protective effect of this envelope I would rate as a moderate. The shell is indeed close to the device, but gives me the impression that falls are not recommended. The material is relatively thin, about 4 mm measured roughly and in a fall from a table, I could well imagine that there could be a dent in the aluminum housing of iPad Minis despite envelope. What purpose but perfectly fulfills this envelope, is in backpacks, bags and Co.
On one side of the casing, a subtle material cut to the iPad is better to be able to reach into the sleeve. At the same time this recess causes, however, that the iPad might scratch at this point easier keys or similar in a pocket. I use the right to the iPad Mini Smart Cover and the magnetic side of the Covers I leave it at this recessed shell side, making the iPad remains protected. This would also be the same, the next question answered: Yes, the cover fits well with Smart Cover because neoprene is very adaptable!
When you first unpack I thought the iPad would never fit in life in this envelope. Granted, with Smart Cover It takes both hands to the shell via iPad Cover + get! Since it is too stupid to me always the iPad cumbersome "stuff" in this envelope to, I looked for a book, which in the dimensions (WxHxD) is 1 cm larger than the iPad Mini and have overnight this book in the shell plugged. This had the effect that the envelope has been expanded and now push the iPad + Cover with something (a hand, the iPad, other hand the shell) slips in the envelope. The Smart Cover is a bit dull and not slide perfectly to the fleecy inner fabric of the envelope without Smart Cover comes the iPad easily into the sheath.

In summary:
- Appearance: chic and simple
- Protection: very good in bags and backpacks
- Protection from falls: rather less (but this is my assessment, I have not tested this)
- Fit the original: very close (to me personally too tight)
-> Fit but is easily adaptable by stretch / wide by book

I would buy this envelope again!
But be careful when cleaning. Thread heat / heat. I have found no information regarding washing machine. But since I also had any experience.
