However, the vote was not enough in the beginning to kindle in me a fire enthusiasm: I felt I produced the CD too smooth, too pop - it lacked the "Sound of the Italian singer-songwriter".
Although we hear a lot of strings, a pleasant piano playing and many Venditti typical saxophone Parts; and alternation between ballad (eg Tienimi dentro te, Non so dirti quando) and midtempo (L'ultimo giorno rubato ...) and sometimes echoes are rocking too!
Yet the production is used to - is this very clearly in 'Ti amo inutilmente'.
Although left Venditti long ago the typical cantautori style and was (pleasantly) poppy - but if it were up to me he was less the Eros Ramazzotti sound (which I also appreciate very much) use and go more in Richting voice and pure instrumentalization ,
The songs have all the potential to do!
Conclusion after repeated Listen: A great album of Italian singing talents, varied with good songs, a voice to kneel ... but a touch too 'smooth' ground.
