In this first volume, we follow Dani Mega OMalley, a young 14 year old girl, sidhe-seers of his condition and super-heroine able to move at super sonic speed, which leads us into his world: Dublin ACM, this is -to say after the fall of the walls. This full heroine character takes us into his daily life. Besides having to survive in the rubble of Dublin, Dani has moon of only two weapons capable of killing Unseelie. She puts her time to pilot the streets of this threat. With its zapping mode, which allows him to do everything at super speed mode, it even has time to publish the Daily Dani, his diary that keeps the public informed of the dangers that lie in wait. She did not have enough to get bored, but also his way will cross that of Ryodan, the boss of the club At Chester and the nature of which remains undetermined at least lembaucher He wishes for a special investigation (which will dailleurs understand the title novel).
This story is after the series of fevers. It therefore should not read Iced quaprès completing adventures MacKayla Lane because in this novel, all the plot of the previous series was unveiled there.
First of all this is with great pleasure that we plunge back into the universe of exciting Faes developed by Karen Marie Moning, before you can fully appreciate the richness and personality of this new saga.
Dani is a really interesting heroine. It comes certainly dune teenager but the story nest in no youth. We could possibly situate the border between the young adult and Lurban fantasy classic. Puisquelle lives in a world dadulte, post-apocalyptic more importantly, the story is quite mature. His youth brings a side very touching, moving and very touching. It is also not question of sexual tension in this volume (fortunately you might say). Dani is nen quaux infancy of his own sexuality. So those are the emotional ties, ties of friendship that are put forward. It will inevitably be a little courted, but this is very chaste. This volume allows us to better know and especially to discover many elements of his youth, rather dark, but that make all the more captivating and engaging.
In terms of narrative, we find alternating between Christian perspective, the MacKeltar half Unseelie prince and Kat, the new leader of the sidhe-seers living in the Abbey. The main voice remains that of Dani and javoue that this is the one I prefer. Some lines are still needed to understand the narrator of transition. Jaurai therefore enjoyed a small chapter of early precision.
The story is extremely rich. The author manages to delve into his world from the first pages. The descriptions of the living conditions (or rather survival) are so credible that we come to have the impression dy being. This is an introductory book, including the Dublin post-fall of the walls, but thanks to the identity own main intrigue of this series appears very distinctly. The characters we are not strangers, as we encounter Jo, another sidhe-seers close to heroine, the Inspector Jayne continues its patrols, especially Dancer, the best friend of Dani lémerveille by his intelligence. Mac and Barrons also appear in the landscape, but in the background.
The writing of KMM is still as addictive. Despite the 600 pages of the novel, Iced devours within hours. Unable to let go this universe is so haunting.
Javais had a huge heart for the saga of fevers and even if my first tome does not transported as I lai still loved to read the excellent moment that he offered me. He already long to find Dani and his cronies in their new adventures.
In conclusion, there is nothing in this novel that can help but say: Go for it !! And do not forget to keep an eye on Dani Daily, a super heroine watching over you!
