I bought this relatively inexpensive Snowskate out of pure interest, after my Burton Source's already getting old. After the loose in the delivery screws tightened, the much too short, rigid and therefore unusable Fangleine replaced by a longer, high tensile (Burton Webleash) and instead of enclosed, unsuitable wet Antirutschpads which were glued by Burton made of soft rubber, the pleasure was nothing in the way. The GPO Snowskate is compared to Burton significantly lighter, narrower and slightly shorter and therefore much more maneuverable and easier to drive, but does not forgive any mistake. On flat terrain also elongated carving turns are great tricks after some practice, on flat to moderate slopes sharing possible. Top it goes on freshly groomed, rather harder slopes, also on ice offer the revolving steel edges relatively good grip. The Snowskate can go well also in the not too deep powder, although on the shoes and the Antirutschpads liable snow often becomes a problem. Overall, these are an absolute fun activity that I can absolutely recommend to people who want to try something new again. Only four stars because there is the loose screw and the unsuitable accessories.
