Function: In essence, the function corresponds to almost 100% of the original PS3 gamepad (as it can also be used). The shoulder triggers L2 + R2 are a little deviating in their spring behavior, but in contrast to the spring-loaded trigger C100 and no buttons are here really built.
Haptics: Is there really a direct comparison to the original PS3 gamepad. I find it even feels a bit "velvety" in what affects really good in the long-playability. Unlike its predecessor, here there are not even minimal burrs on the screws wells, but these are extremely soft rounded.
Appearance: Unlike other manufacturers the gamepad C210 is only the logo, the label on the back and the alternative "X to circle" -Tastensymbole, deviating from the original PS3 version. Compared to its predecessor, the C100 line where the two halves close and the keys that were labeled at C100 with "1 to 4". Differ
General: The C210 includes how the PS3 original a permanently installed battery which can be charged via the (not supplied) Mini-USB Type B cable. The battery life I have unfortunately not able to measure reliably (use it partly as a remote control for the PC, therefore difficult classifiable), but not disappointed. Charging goes relatively quickly in a few hours (1-2 hours previously)
Special: With a special software (as in my case Xpadder) can the gamepad into a lot more situations bring! The software emulates (ie interpreted verändertermaßen) the signals of the gamepad and converts them into signals of its own choice to (keyboard, mouse, etc.). So is the right analog stick, for example on the sofa for a replacement for the mouse. Many no gamepad support games and even the PC operating system can even be remotely controlled with a little patience in adjusting and experimentation.
Mainly for this and for playing Nintendo emulations I ordered the gamepad - and thanks to cordless C210 I can do that even in great, absolutely relaxed style of my sofa. My tip: Super Nintendo emulator (eg "ZSNES" - optionally with enabled retro TV optics) + C210 gamepad + TV + sofa = retro paradise.
