It is quite clear that a virtual surround headset delivers the performance of a 7.1 hi-fi system. And it is total nonsense to include this in with a review or assessment and to want to measure it on such a comparison! That's it ...
This headset is processed very solid, seated after a short (12h season) without voltage perfectly and without any pressure points. It has been thought to use and comfortable for both games and calls. What it is actually, it's more than good: It provides a hammer sound! The bass is powerful and not overemphasized, the centers are balanced and appropriate for a real all-round operation, the heights can be language very well come across as well as effects in games. It is ideal for games and music, after my reception ends a true all-rounder.
Added to this is the problem (Win7 / XP) USB sound card. Using these and activated in the games Gaming Sound, actually get a really good for this price class gaming experience. The Atmossphäre and the effects are super over, and virtual 7.1 works perfectly in my opinion, opponents and effects can be places properly.
The supplied bag is also a great gimmick as I back my headset and much herschleppen must ...
I have ordered it in the usual Sennheiser quality expectations and was pleasantly surprised when unpacking. But after Preview and -Hear I'm really excited!
