Having returned with losses and smash the FUNC 3 R2 MS (even if the seller is fast and courteous and professional, I will return to it as soon as I can), which is a mouse as noisy as not practical, I am with my ZM-GM4 for over ten days / 10 hours per day and is simply perfect on all points (except the elegance of which I will not talk, I let you judge): - Extraordinarily sensitive mouse buttons, soft and low noise - Additional buttons all within easy reach, and just right - Perfectly slippery mouse (much better than the MS-3 I do not understand those who say that the MS-3 slips well, that trying the ZM-GM4!); - Simply brilliant in terms of hardware settings: I have a large and high mouse, and the grip is perfect, I lightened up, in short, the ideal settings EXCEPT software macros where management is simply poorly made (one mistake and you have to redo everything, if you want to do a new macro there is no "list" macros: the new overwrites the previous one); - IPR, as everyone says, it's a smokescreen, it is impossible to me to see "humanly" the difference, but good - Finally the top: no overrated stuff, not feeble spark flashing, color rotation, mode "breathing" of the mouse, not, as the effective: a small LED that lights up as soon as move the mouse. Practice, one immediately sees its sensitivity - The middle wheel: I would say it is the only flaw in my opinion, but it's a matter of taste: Unlike Microsoft mouse (I hate so much the operating system, I worships (the term is exact) their hardware for 17 years) who have very sensitive wheel, completely silent here, the wheel rolls through small "blows." It's like the rest, it is not a defect, but a choice of operation that I personally do not like.
That said, this mouse is just fantastic. I bought instead of a Mad Catz because I read so many negative return on their hard problems, in comparison, Zalman did not. I hope she will keep me in time because I am perfectly satisfied, and for a purist like me, it is rather unusual to say that!
