Absolutely well done and worth listening to - Charly Brunner & Simone

It is the first duet album for sympathetic Simone, the "most hit export" from Austria. Charly Brunner, who only produced a solo album, moves here on familiar ground, because he sang so many years very successfully with his brother Jogl - remembered as Brunner & Brunner.
The new duet album by Charlie and Simone "The little big life" offers a lot of hit potential and I find it absolutely first class and worth listening to!
The opener "Here I stand and believe still in love! Here I stand and believe still in luck!" I feel as nice philosophy of life, the song speaks to me right away and makes you curious for more ... Love Words of Charly & Simone are also in the booklet to the CD and I immediately thought - an album for me;) ...

The first single "This little big life" is played successfully already in the charts. A beautiful text which brings it to the point: We are somehow just a "grain of sand" in the universe, but everyone experiences his own great life and it's worth out of each day to do something special ... The title has a catchy melody and was originally produced in Disco Tango - just great!

The joint album of Simone and Charly offers evergreens with a new look and new songs.
"The Song of Lucy Jordon" is about a strong woman taking their lives into their own hands ... words and music go under my skin ... - encouraged and implemented toll of "Streets of London" (Ralf Mc Tell / 1986).
"Islands in the Sun" - ... a touch of the sea ... in July this hot light ...- invites you to dream and reminds us of "Something Stupid".
A lot of positive energy sprayed "Forever Young", a great cover of international hits "Forever Young" (Alphaville). The timeless song is fresh and charming interpreted by Simone and Charly - I really like.
Equally appealing are "Show me at night the stars" ("Let it be me") and the first complete German version of "Out of Love" (Stefan Waggershausen / Ofra Haza).

But the CD also includes brand new songs:
Scary touching, I find the "Summer Tears", here I have to stop and just listen ...
Beautifully in text and music are also "warm feeling" and "Wherever you go," she recall Brunner great songs and "Wherever you go" belongs to my favorite songs of Charly's first solo album. With Simone song gets a new color and sounds super nice!
New and potential hit is also "Come on and dance 'with me awake." Charly begins with his part: ... feelings are in a coma ... that world out there, which are all crazy ... (that's what I think too often!). Then Simone uses: ... let you just do not hang so ... I already bring 'you still Tour'n ...- simply gorgeous :)! Now comes the loose little chorus that develops immediately as catchy - made really great!
As the last song of the CD still is something special, as the Brunner fans are used to from the Brunner-albums ... - "Words of Love". Empathetic and with beautiful words describe Charly and Simone, that only love this world holds together - goosebumps ...

Conclusion:
"The little big life" is an all around beautiful duet album, produced with much love and heart that the listener conveys a message - that everyone understands ...
The distinctive warm voice of Charly and Simone's clear, high timbre harmonize perfectly. It's great fun and joy to listen !!!
