The C + decoder of the original HDD is 80GB, which is simply ridiculous: some hours of recording and the disk is full !!!

Finding no more old references compatible with the latest C + decoder (2014) sold for more, I tried this 500GB WD HDD, unreferenced by Canal Plus: You just format it to FAT32 with a PC, before connecting on the decoder and "initialize" with the decoder (see the menus of decoders).

Conclusion: working perfectly with my Canal + decoder (read / write speeds are sufficient for this use). I was looking for storage: it is what he does and no problems: Great.

A buy eyes closed.

Note:
- The fact that it is USB 3.0 (2.0 compatible) is no problem with the decoder (no bugs and / or crash).
- Do not choose the 1TB version because C + decoder plant every day. I tried several HDD (WD, Seagate, etc.) of this capacity and it appears that the maximum accepted limit is 500GB. So beware!
