Action packed!

1. The biggest challenge I met was to completely forget the film to focus only on the novel. This proved to be a resounding failure because every time I could see in my mind the exact scene of the film.

The characters

Katniss - heroin, narrator, and pain in the ass - not a character I was able to appreciate, even after the end of the novel. I found it cold, whimsical, and sometimes rather bitch. Enjoy yourself:

Like every beginning of dystopia - except for Divergent, where I quickly assimilated, I needed a looooong time to understand how the company worked. Obviously, this is a dystopia, not a utopia, I quickly able to compare their dictatorship than Promise Ally Condie, or of Delirium by Lauren Oliver. With the colors and more.
The difference between these companies and the Hunger Games is that here, the state is not trying to hide their dictatorship, and their reasons. Finally, I got the impression, at least.
Because if that's the case, I did not notice, and Katniss is much more perceptive than other heroines.

The novel itself

I struggled to hang early. Yet the basics are quickly implemented, and selection for the Hunger Games is super fast. So I think it's the fault of Katniss! She had only to be as boring! So I pretty waded into the semolina to the entrance into the arena. And there, guys, I gets off.

Suzanne Collins leaves very little time to recover from our emotions, there is constantly the action - with a few drops plans, though. Even though I knew what would happen, I was taken into the action and suspense of the Hunger Games, in an arena full of traps, where Katniss can not rely on anything or anyone, where "nature" is also controlled by the company. The strategic side I liked: tribute each having its own strategy, it was interesting to get an overview of the evolution and survival of some.

If I have two days to read the first quarter of the novel, I put that in the last three quarters. And even if a break is needed in the trilogy, I'm looking forward to learn more about the events because I have no idea what will follow, and that, well I ' admit, I loved: D
