The 160 LEDsnicht very very bright and the light makes a tidy impression processed.
There are 2 lenses. One in plain white for a little more diffused light (which meaningful way already in the supply to the lamp plugged) and in orange for better color temperature.
You can work without diffuser of course, but the light is then vielzu hard. The white disc it is okay, but I would prefer orange, the light is much more pleasant.
You can dim the lamp, the switch for this sitting at a good spot and is also quite high.
The large but and why this light somehow misses the point shoots:
On the back is the battery compartment, which is protected with a simple frame and not by a cover. Where that is the 6 AA batteries or the battery has to be inserted practically a hole can penetrate unhindered through the water and mud. Of course, such a lamp is not necessarily intended for cave photography, but why do you have to cut a hole in the cover? One can, of course, so the battery (if it uses one) move faster, but outside the lamp is to use as first only partially, you never know whether any falls but even a drop of water on the lamp. I built a cover of foil and plastic and this geklepbt over the hole, but generally this is an annoying flaw on an otherwise very good product.
