Now for the negative aspects: Schippers colors are not bad per se. Especially the dark color (dark purple, "black", etc.) have a fulfilling expectations high pigment density. The bright colors, however, (especially the slightly yellowish white) do not cover really well. You should apply at least two layers or the color very thick from the outset. When one considers this, no numbers or edges should be more visible.
The included brush is really very cheap and of poor quality. More than fifty cents I'd not spend on this in a shop. And I can say of myself that I know how to deal with brushes, because all my life I have male (and God knows no painting by numbers). The whole picture I have not done with this brush (because frayed) and had to fall back on one of my good brush, because otherwise I would not have finished.
The absolute (and at this crucial image) minus point is that colors were partially dried. It is true that a Schipper "Color Replacement Delivery" available, but enough time for the delivery of not, because this should be presented one week after delivery. Thus, the colors from the cover (!!!) had to be solved and diluted in painstaking labor of Sisyphus with color, so that they were rudimentary vermalbar. Apparently my picture was already longer in the camp (the bright colors were completely dried out - the darkest colors were in the normal measure dried slightly). It can therefore assessed as "mon product" and hope that this was a one-time mistake.
To summarize: The design is great, the result is great and the recipient was very happy. The painting has as always a lot of fun and for me (as always ;-)) triggered a kind of meditative state. Please buy from the outset a clever replacement acrylic brush (a brush SYNTHETIC for 3, - should there be sufficient) and hope that you do not - as I do - get the package with the dried color ;-).
