Why is specified in an advertisement:

"Does not affect the normal functions of the phone"?

If my Lightning connector is used by the module, it surely affects the "normal" function of my device to the extent that I can not otherwise use, right ?!
I find advertising and product descriptions should be rigorously honest, therefore, I look no TV.
