I bought to complete this lamp to my living room with this latest Philips.
I already have 3 Iris and I must say honestly, it's not a big difference in brightness detected.
The Living Colors of 3 generation is equipped with a remote control with color-turning wheel, so goes Philips technically use a slightly different way, because the remote control had previously equipped with a touch function and it no longer could be also control individual lamps, now.
No problem for me, got me a remote control of the Generation 2 concerned and all the lights can be controlled wonderful.
The function that all lamps can be programmed on a remote control is great. Whether Iris, Aura or Bloom.
The lights are just great, they reduce stress, prepare for going to bed, make an exciting atmosphere at the right movies or are a super party attendants.
There are a huge number of color options, 16 million colors, however, are difficult to detect because the color gradations so slowly merge to separate them carefully.
Dimmer function is just as natural as the contrast control when operating.
Also an automatic color change can be adjusted.
But bringing in the lamps, the Philips Hue system into play, it gets really interesting.
Here, the Philips LivingColors can bring the 3.Gerneration.
It is then possible the lamps (assuming Internet) to control even over the phone from any location in the world.
Furthermore, a time control is possible, and numerous other features.
Thus, probably the less than favorable price comes to pass.
Philips can be the technology of course pay well, but one also has a lamp which can be perfect to integrate into an illumination system and thus can open up even more possibilities.
This variety of ways you look at other systems still in vain.
Here Philips plays the long experience of the lighting development.
I'm super satisfied, the lamps are a real asset.
And the aura now completes the feel-good atmosphere in your living room.
I'm very satisfied! !!
