I give the Sony HDR-CX240 only 2 out of 5 stars.
Of course in this price range is not Formula 1 expected. But even a useful instrument. Picture and sound are under this condition definitely still ok. But not the construction. Cheap haptics, you have absolutely "nothing" in his hand. In another judgment has already been briefly pointed out the disturbing noise during operation. And so it is. Each press of the button / knob is transmitted mercilessly destroys any recording, overrides all other audio recordings. Microphone sensitivity was reduced - zero effect. Apparently affects the "empty" housing as a kind of sounding board. An operation via joystick can get used to. The playback menu is structured horrible, not even rudimentary intuitive. It makes schlciht no fun with the device to work. Compared to the Panasonic HC-V250, an alternative purchase, would be appropriate not mall 1 star.
No buy recommendation.
