I bought the double package for use as a spare battery or for use in the battery grip.
Once fully charged, the battery lasted for a 3-hour stage show for about 1500 photos (with no greater image control on the display) Freely. The performance over a longer period I can not judge, but the battery should hold only 2-3 years, then the price for a new purchase still justified and no problem. For environmental reasons, however, this is already a problem, since batteries are counted as special waste!
