Affordable home theater with minor quirks

I ordered the Beamer late Monday and it was Wednesday morning since then. Perfect, it could not have been faster! I have chosen him according to the criteria intensity and resolution, 720p should he already can, but the price was at the acquisition also not too small role. When unpacking, I realized that the thing really small, handy and simple but actually quite elegant in design comes along. The processing is certainly better, but what do you expect for the price?!? Power cables were available in 3-fold design. Actually unnecessary. Plus everything else you might need except nem HDMI cable, which would have brought me eh anything because I mind. 5 meter consumption.
During commissioning, I once again realized how important the luminosity. Below 2000 Ansi it should not be, otherwise the daylight dominates the picture too much, especially in dark areas. That's when the H5350 still in the green zone. Did the signal so far leaked only from my PS3 via HDMI. The quality can be really see. The criticized by many in this projector rainbow effect is very limited. After all the horror stories I've read, I've already anticipated that under my canvas soon a leprechaun dancing around NEN pot of gold and laughing at me because of my poor projector. But until now leaves the rainbow and therefore the goblin yet to come. As for the picture quality so I'm quite happy, zmdt. via HDMI. The volume is also in the frame. Already perceptible, yet quiet a lot, as my old Toshiba, whose light has passed away and the new acquisition would then cost me more than all the Beamer incl. Lamp on ebay (~ 350).
To take a small interim conclusion: The price / performance ratio is already top.

AAAAB: Where there is light, there is shadow:
The zoom is very very bad. I had a pre-assembled ceiling bracket. I have now modified a bit and taken a few screws with a smaller thread. The distance is not really wrong for the beamer times.
But there are only 2 settings menu in principle. 16: 9 and 4: 3. When 16: 9 is the image too wide for my screen, at 4: 3, it is too small. The zoom on the lens helps me because with its miserable 1.1x not much further. Micht annoying in general somehow that the projector rather for 16: 9 is designed. But that was me actually already clear and that would be to complain about now somehow stupid. Nevertheless: If you should not be wirlich very flexible when it comes to the position of the projector to the screen, you can either hope for luck or order nen expensive projectors, which all can be better.
I was once so freely and have a little measured:
At 4.20 m distance the image in 4: 3 mode about 2m wide, in 16: 9 mode are as 2.70m at full zoom. it's already a bit small, but the world does that make not my canvas with its 2,40m still too small!
Still, I'm happy and think that I will have fun with the device. Good 4 points. For the 5's was not enough because the zoom!
