I have for about 4 years a Acer laptop and this is my third power supply that I had ordered. The original Acer PSU has failed after about 2 years, the second, of a cheap provider after about a year and the last, also a low-cost supplier, flew me to already 4 months around the ears (not kidding - the thing has' nen Short beyond good and evil causes). So I needed a new fast, but also did not have the big money, so have resorted to this power supply. When it came, I did it once infected with the still intact plug my second power supply (I am Messi cable ...) - Fatal Error! It was boiling hot! But when I then use the supplied plug came the positive result: even when I used the laptop in bed and lay the AC adapter on the bedspread or sheets, it was no more than lukewarm. No nasty surprises! That really convinced me, because the other cheap power supplies were comparatively hot (not that you burn, but already frightened, when you touch it.) Apart from this power supply is pretty robust. There's clearly fixed in the laptop than the other cables - even better than the original Acer - and by the L-shape of the charging connector, it is also not so large cable stress when you turn the laptop times. I have it although now only a few months, but I can well imagine that it holds by more than a year.
Only negative: The adapter is incredibly large and heavy! If one breaks a lot with the laptop and wearing shouldered the bag, you can feel after a while every gram on your back. But otherwise nothing to complain about. Price - performance is more than before!
PS: yes' d like to give 4.5 stars, but the function does not exist unfortunately.
