Affordable thermal protection, easy installation

Personal experiences:

Appearance:
As always, a matter of taste. The black mesh structure fits seamlessly into our anthracite roof. The view from out is difficult, but not difficult to look after from.

Haptics / processing:
Velux typical well. The reel-up are easy to operate. The seams are firmly processed.

Installation:
Now, after 5 heat awnings I need a manual more. However, I need no other awning.
Initially, the two supplied "only" art operations somewhat confusing as the set and the supplied parts are delivered for different types of windows and the necessary parts themselves must be put together.
The installation itself is simple and is not made more difficult by the tailored accessories strategy of Velux.

Effect:
Whether a reduction of 95% can be achieved, such as Velux promises I can not prove. Overall, there is a significant reduction in heat in the attic.

Storm suitability:
At the last big storm and thunderstorm in our region the two claws held at the bottom of this awning fixed on the window. Another advantage is the very low side attack surface of the awning as this rests almost entirely on the window surface.

Conclusion:
A useful accessory of Velux. Agree price / performance.
