First of all: I work mainly with the PSR 18Li-2, here perform battery and machine their service entirely satisfactory. From the PST 18 LI however, I am very disappointed, because she herself is totally unsuitable for undemanding DIY tasks and to each wired device clearly loses out.
1) the power is low, the specified number of strokes acts once high, (if at all) but can only be reached at idle. Even in relatively thin material (about 2 cm particle board) allows the number of strokes after strong. Here's my cheap device of Einhell is even estimated 3 times as fast. By thicker materials (3 cm chipboard), each mm are hard-won from the machine. Pressing them too forward, the motor weakens noticeably, so that one gets even slower. For a 1.5 m long piece of chipboard (2.5cm) I've been using the leaves T144D (Speed for Wood) repeated settling about 2 minutes used. My wired machine is marched through the comparison in one go and in about 40 seconds.
But 2) the KO criterion is the battery life: I have been repeatedly cut with full battery particleboard, and after every 8 - 10 sections of 50 cm was closing. This corresponds to an operating time of less than 15 minutes. Since I have only one battery for Bosch machines, several annoying mandatory breaks were necessary. But even with 2 batteries would the PST 18 no fun, as the charger yes about 70 minutes for a full recharge takes (when the battery is completely empty).
3) is another small negative point that the PST 18 to me faster than my wired jammed machine. The cuts are a total of unclean / wave. The PST seems meticulously paying attention to a straight posture. The splintering it has already torn me to the few uses.
Another positive are the rational processing, the Cut Control and the saw blade depot. But if you can not work with the saw, use the little details nothing.
More than 1 point, I can not give the PST 18 Li, the performance is abysmal and the battery life so underground that the machine is useless for me.
Oh: after consultation with Bosch is a defect in the batteries excluded, there are points to the capacity of 1.5 Ah, which allows just depending on the wood and saw only about 30 minutes. I was to buy another battery me ;-)
