After I was really warm with the "Infinity" album from last year at no time, I was quite excited about the new album by Matthias Reim. After the first hearing was clear: "The Lightness of Being" I like a little better than "infinity". The song "What für'n feeling" and "Remember" to talk to me spontaneously at most. Also, "I do not mind dying," "stupid idea", "what if" and "Who never went through shards" are okay for me. Right away something kirmes excessively I find "1000 times", "witch" and "You'll always be," but maybe I listen to the still beautiful. Slightly torn I was beginning the first single, the title track "The Lightness of Being". The verses and the text I found equally sensational. But then comes the chorus this "Hey, la la" melody and that was not the same throughout my thing. Meanwhile, I find that this is the best number of the album. In "Alone alone" I had to listen only slightly. But that's good, because often I find after a while things best in the I had to listen a little. The songs of CD 2 "Lie!", "In Your Eyes", "Sometimes" and "The earth will continue to rotate" I find all spontaneously ever quite orderly. Its hallmarks, the credible texts and his distinctive voice, Matthias Reim brings to this album again into its own. Basically me his music just like it better when it is less schlageresk. With albums like "Invincible" or "men are warriors," I could therefore start much more, not to mention the CDs unreached years 1990 to 2000. His best album is "The Lightness of Being" for me, even after the x- TEN listening and not whether the numbers become on of my favorite songs by MR, I exclude also, however: Overall, I feel it so that "The Lightness of Being" again after all more of Matthias Reim is that I like to listen to. Pretty creepy I find the CD cover, but what the heck. "The Lightness of Being" I see 3 to 4 stars. Here's just one of them. Reim has in his career with "I've dreamed of you", "be together", "When the heart is", "I'm not in love" and some more, already has songs that I'll always find great. For "The Lightness of Being" I forgive therefore benevolently only times 4 stars.
