The installation of the Aria scale hooked directly to the beginning of Windwos XP software installation with the downloaded file Fitbit Connect. The installation routine is already terminated at the start screen with an unspecified error, quasi without giving a reason ... That it was only times nothing with the connect via PC. This may of course not be, because the scales themselves can be nothing to configure.
I have the installation then hammer out a bit cumbersome PC instead of my Galaxy S2 Android Smartphone. All in all, I have occupied me a good 45 minutes of installation. A very specific instructions for both devices (PC & Smartphone) I would have liked. Meaningful but are unfortunately only the online tutorials that unfortunately does not indicate all the possible sources of error are described well or somewhat patchy.
If you have but the product once finished furnishings, it works perfectly (with router Fritzbox 7390 WLAN b / g / n). It syncs weight & body fat / BMI values directly in the own online Fitbit account what (quasi the standard calorie consumption while sitting) is the basis for calculating the body's fat burning calories values. The data I call you using a browser on (PC then goes :)). More, the balance is not nothing less.
The design I find very appealing, the price is of course a matter of opinion. As for me, but an appealing-designed and functioning system was desired, it has fully met the requirements.
