Again a great, very varied album

After "Harter Weg (Go!)" Had managed in recent weeks with me for most listened song and I already quite impatiently looked forward to the new album, my expectations were accordingly high - and were met for large parts, though the new album something surprised.

If you 'want to compare Santa Muerte "with one of the previous albums, then offers itself for this most" Vanitas "on. However, "Santa Muerte" is a bit smoother, but very good and strong production.
Musically, it is a little gentler on (is every now and then but still very impulsive), the old Oi shares have disappeared (which, frankly I do not particularly care), the current result is beside melodic punk - like on "Vanitas" - more in the directions with Rockabilly Soul elements, refined by the likewise already on "Vanitas" increasingly flashing and very successful organ, harmonica and brass inserts (saxophone, trumpet, trombone).

The album you may have to treat a few runs before it can score right. Then one discovers more and more but the playfulness that is the songs own. The texts can convince; they are less directly, the message is somewhat cryptic therefore. The choruses are mostly very strong and have strong but after repeated listening to catchy.
Even with "Harter Weg (Go!)" I noticed the phased really ingenious and clever lines of text; the song remains no exception.
