On 200 pages divided into fifty chapters of varying length, Catherine Robbe-Grillet (aka Joan Berg) is, like a dictionary, some sketch of the life of the new novelist. It delivers the same time a touching portrait of love like no other. She does not forget, of course, not to mention many of crousstillants details of their "sexual" life. At the end we learn as much about Catherine on Alain, but we do not regret at any time to read this book well written and friendly. A must for reader Alain Robbe-Grillet and Jeanne de Berg
