- All Eyez On Me: With its first extraction (unfortunately was not too successfully) succeeds Monica a big step on the new R & B Style to. Futuristic beats and sampled passages of tracks from Michael Jackson's hit album "Thriller" animate to dancing. Vocally somewhat schwächelnd. (1)
- U Should've Known: Even with the third track shows Monica in her element, because one of her ballads are very special treat. Her voice here is clear, beautifully soulful singing, which is ensnared by a ohrwurmverdächtigten melody and supported by welcome electric guitar during the bridge. (1-)
- Too Hood: Again happily with Monica zukünftlichen beats, which account for a more than successful Relax Dance Track total. Monica is here actively supported by Jermaine Dupris, by the way, also a part of the LP produced, and perfectly engages with its rap chant under his arms. Who is initially excited perhaps not particularly, perhaps often times should press the repeat button, because only the beats this song are peculiar succeeded. (1)
- I wrote this song: That Monica also proves lyrical talent in itself, she explains with this song, a tribute to her late friend. The melodic Tonläufe and choruses, to the clear, great vocals refine the successful mid-tempo number. (1-)
- U deserve: a step backwards seems to make Monica with this number, which recall strongly hours before their first album "Miss Thang" The number Combines Small unimaginative and lame melody However, a bright spot is the rap lines.. and the chorus (4+)
- Breaks my heart: a short hangover the vocal talents proceeds with a new, first-class ballad. Vocally, the singer shows what they can, and thus supports the shallow-sounding, shallow piano sounds, of which it is supported. (2+)
- Is not gonna cry no more: Although Monica's vocals seem a bit schwächelnd here, the number is strongly reminiscent of Brandy and Co. and blends seamlessly with the R'n'B scene. The beats seem carefully chosen and sit down on the average. However, clearly missing here a loud climax. (2)
- If U Were the girl: Here was probably a closer look at the beats, but these are too dark and loud in my opinion, for the voice of his interpreter. Melodic and lyrically but you should absolutely look more closely at this track because it has strangely catchy qualities. (3)
- What Hurts The Most Beautiful guitar sounds enhance the delicate mid-tempo ballad. Monica's voice seems to stand out more clearly than ever and ever remembers the melody of earlier successes such as fishing in mine. Nevertheless, nothing earth-shattering. (2)
- Searchin: Still feeling full it goes on. The voice sounds much more mature in this case and the vocals in the background spread sad beautiful mood. The tune might indeed be thought out, but probably would have been worse in others this Ballad. (2)
- Just Another Girl: I think one of the best songs on the CD. The melody is adjacent to the spirit of the times and animated dance to. Vocally definitely great and also the Beats sound to date. So overall very melodious and tactfully. (1)
- What My Heart Says: Almost a capella singing Monica finally, because the instrument are initially silent to hear the voice of the singer and those in the background are hardly to be heard. Successful completion. (2+)
Conclusion: During the first part of the CD much more melodic seems like so many other LPs and reaches the plate in the middle of a hangover, she picks herself at the end again and impresses with ballads, a genre that clearly prevailed on Monica has third album and for fans that therefore seems exactly the right thing. However, anyone who is on a varied, modern R'n'B á la Aaliyah, Brandy and TLC, which is perhaps better done with their CDs, really courage to newer styles not showing up to a maximum of 5 Monica songs, unfortunately. Nevertheless, one should give the album despite its partially unimaginative beats a chance because although Monica has not yet jumped on the train, it is just for lovers of the two previous LPs of the interpreter more than successful ...
