The 6-Eck variant is new to me, and also in this price range I have never moved at pavilions. For a celebration in the garden while Osterfeuer I bought it and hoped that they still look for later use. This Easter there was just the endurance test. Wind gusts from different directions, rain, fire and many people.
The structure designed is quite simple. Alone I have half an hour hand. However one needs then be patient and rather long arms. Couple we went but better. The hexagon is larger than expected and you have to watch in the legs that do not bend away. Even for couples, it should not attack surfaces are built in strong wind because it is quite large.
The roof is put together quickly. The first legs even get out alone. The plane is then but already difficult. With wind and alone it is practically impossible. Overall, the tarpaulin is first fixed with 6 Velcro on the roof. Later, if you have set up your feet, hooked to the lower ends into appropriate holes in the feet. The Velcro straps and hooks sewn seem good and braved the wind. In the feet you put pegs in order to fix this on the ground. In addition, there are storm cords should be secured at the bottom also. The pegs are unfortunately very thin and round, keeping the tent so not really. In addition, a joke the guy lines are more than a sensation ... There are deductions!
The side panels, so windows and doors (all with this for all 6 walls), are fixed at the top with four Velcro straps and side each with four Velcro straps. The holding of a little stronger wind and has proven itself actually.
The stability is given. However, I doubt even if the accident was. I've actually installed everything was there (except for the bag). Nevertheless, I have two tents again connected with cable ties and who are both attached to the connection leg with a strap on a tree. The reason was the structure of the first tent. This was indeed fixed to the ground, but even relatively buckled violently away before the second stand. It is amazingly nothing happened (which speaks for the quality) but it was not reassuring. After the wind subsided, the weather was better.
From Easter fire apparently occurred little Glutteil on the roof where now is a small hole. That would not happen every tent is made of textile.
The tents can be prepared by using disassemble good and vertauen again. For the next job ready ...
Ultimately, I would buy the tents again. Although we did not need it actually, that one does not know precisely in advance. The structure and stability for that price but in any case, perfectly fine!
