The patch consists of a transparent plastic film with a wound pad of gauze in the center. The film is elastic and provided with a good adhesive.
The sealing of the wound can only succeed if the pavement flat and wrinkle-free contact with the skin, so that the adhesive surface can produce a sufficient seal.
Directly at joints, on oily skin or to places where you sweat easily, it can already, in principle, do not work. In this respect, one should not expect miracles here.
At joints raises the skin folds, where the patch film can not follow -> leaking.
On oily skin, the adhesive may not stick -> Peeling off
When sweating under the adhesive surface exits moisture and can (as opposed to patches of cloth) not dry -> peel off.
In all other areas of the skin but it works well and keeps on not to heavy use for two days then it should be replaced. Hand washing, showers, etc. No problem, the patch remains tight.
It is the first patch, with which I have been able to provide small injuries to the hand so that they remain protected from the everyday contact with water.
