Since "Hard Core" I'm a fan of this little sexy Schandmaul. Particularly high expectations I had not yet. Because "La Bella Mafia" had me not so much. For experimental and half-baked. Still, I had the new simply. And to say the same, I am very pleasantly surprised. There are surprisingly many songs on it, which I find really great. The Skits I let out and dedicate myself only the songs, therefore the partially confusing sequence of numbers. The lyrics of course I do not review. For if what Explicit may not be written here. ;) 2. Spell Check The opener powerful pure skin. Very cool groovy bass. Hat's off for the subwoofer rejoice. Then Kim's voice, just top notch. The Raps are good, the flow as well. Absolutely good deal. 3. Lighters Up The first piece, which is tinged reggae moderately. Before that I had jitters. Because I am not a fan of this new reggae rap. But here the same time a positive surprise. The reggae influence is indeed listening out clearly, but fortunately he does not take the upper hand. And Kim's voice is super fit. The piece also runs just fine by ear. 5. Shut Up B *** h Arg. The piece sounds very Missy. By that I mean quite experimental beats. Somehow it does not fit for Kim. You can hear it safe. But a really good Lil 'Kim piece is something else for me. 6. Whoa What is that? The first bars catch yes almost as monumental film music in the style of Action strip. Something annoying drums throughout the piece. But otherwise pretty good. 7. Slippin Good break. Now something Slower. Almost no more rap, somehow rather hard R'n'B from musically. If it was not then Kims typical aggressive rap. The soft music blends so amazingly well. Also a good deal. 9. All Good And then again from the toughest beat drawer. Although again relatively slow, but damn hard beat. The flow in the chorus is right up my alley, but I love Lil 'Kim. 10. I Know You See Me Begins promisingly with a Sampel. And no disappointment afterwards. The piece is absolutely not aggressive from musically. Super groovy and with the best flow, the I've ever heard of Kim in her lyrics. Absolute out tip. Very, very transparent piece. Tip. I would love to be able to experience a time of her live happy after their imprisonment. Because women live is a blast. 12. Quiet (feat. The Game) Was entitled as a pun intended? Volume turn up, sit back, close your eyes and enjoy! Hammer! The best piece on the board. The best ever of Lil 'Kim? Maybe. Anyway, it was already at first listen to me on the same level with "Mafia Land" from the album "Hard Core" and "Came Back For You" from "La Bella Mafia," my absolute favorite pieces from her. Very, very casual Bass, super relaxed but outrageously hard. Only much too short. But beware: the piece is very high demands on good amplifier and speakers. I have now heard it already on four different systems. And only on the right expensive hi-fi system including two subs that piece comes over really awesome. Lesser systems are overwhelmed by the bass simply hopeless. Since then clatters, the bass are blurred, not bone dry and cleanly separated, it all sounds hard, no longer translucent. But anyone who has stand a really good investment and best yet, a pair Velodyne at home, will have his true joy in the song. 13. Durty The second Reggaerap on the disk. Worse than the first. Too many reggae inserts. The Parts with Kim are unfortunately quite annoying in order, the rest. 15. We Do not Give AF ** k (feat. Bun B, Twista) Hard and yet reasonably melodic. Unfortunately, far too little Kim. After the first minute are only the two guests heard. I do not like it. Annoying. I want to hear on a Lil 'Kim Album and Lil' Kim. The piece Unlike so after 90 seconds. 16. Gimme That Best "Hard Core" manner. Pretty joyful beats and to such a basic text nastier. She really is the baddest b *** h in the game. :) 17 Kitten Box Here again unusual beats, going back toward Missy. Kim's voice does not like it here as well. Something boring as quickly too monotonous. 18. Kronik (feat Snoop Dogg) Not to bad. The refrain "I am addicted to the kronik" developed due to the emphasis almost catchy qualities. 20. Get Yours (feat TI, Sha-Dash) Not quite as casual as Track 12, because a little bit faster. Again, a little more Kim had the piece well done safely. Nevertheless tidy. Especially the chorus has style and catchy well. 21 Last Day Slowly, the album sounds from. A piece to listen and here I mean primarily the text, not the music. So it looks good even Kim himself. The music stays in the background, so that the slow lyrics are very easy to understand. Conclusion: The album like very. Even the pictures in the booklet show a new old Lil 'Kim. Extremely stylish and extremely sexy. Not as pushy as provocative the last two albums. The debut "Hard Core" was like a slap in the face, because it was just new, that a woman so explicitly expressed. The next two albums were the demarcation to the freeloaders interior. In "Naked Truth" I now have a feeling that Kim has matured and is just above it all. She knows that it is undisputed the baddest and it has to prove anyone. The rank relationships have been clarified, there is none that could be dangerous to her than Quenn B *** h. Therefore, they can approach the album very reclined. No aggressive I-am-worse-than-as-you posturing. Some might say too mainstream. I simply just say Lil 'Kim in new former strength. All Good? No. But a damn good rap album. Your best. Track 10, 12 and 20 alone are already worth the Album purchase.
