For years I keep hearing what a great series "Dexter" is. But since there are many extremely good series, my choice so far never fell on "Dexter". Now that I've seen a few episodes, I'm disappointed with the quality. Surprisingly, I have not seen "Six Feet Under", the series that Michael C. Hall has known for a long time. The series was not my case, but it was well done. This does not apply to "Dexter" in my opinion. Too many of the actors spirits as foreign bodies through the picture, the dialogues have any finesse and surprise to miss. The presentation of policing acts clumsily, not credible, and Dexter has not even been given at the scene something interesting on its own, which would support the allegations that he is a clever expert. His undercover sister spoils it with their former "colleague", the whores, in a special way by being judgmental, and then wondering about the echo of Bordsteinschwalben. Represented rather naive, yet it is the one-eyed man among the blind, as their superiors, Lt LaGuerta puts an amazing simplicity of the day, and in their actions, as well as acting. The conflicts within the whole group act anyway very fake. The screenplay has just demanded that the A B not like, and B is the C, and C in turn can not with A. So similar and that is also found in other series, except that the reaction at Dexter simply is not convincing. Michael C. Hall as it falls not hard to stand out, he embodies the psychopaths very credible, and mice to play with his thoughts and how he perceives the reality is sometimes very interesting and fun. Unfortunately I do in "Dexter" just some things also no fun. And there is no lack of imho better series, it was just a short trip for me and I turn again he prefers "Elementary", "Ripper Street" and "Big Bang Theory" to.
