Have given away at Christmas the device. Actually, so many should leave and family photos are digitized, but the shots are all blurred beyond recognition (see example photo). The software vendor (ArcSoft) excludes Error, so I exchanged the instrument, but also to the replacement device the result looks no better. Now I have Rollei written to support. I hope for a patch or similar. On the PC, it can not be in any case, the software and the device itself to three different computers (desktop XP, XP notebook and desktop Win7) have tested. Always with the same result.
ADDENDUM: The solution to the problem is the calibration in the 'dark'. After the device has been calibrated in a darkened room once the blurred contours are passé, the first image is scanned into the PC very presentable. So I am well pleased. Let's see what will bring the slide albums yet so the scanned cross-section, or if I have to deduct a star again.
If your recordings similar look like the Prague world clock on the sample photo, repeat the calibration 'at night'.
