I had previously two old thermos with a lever lock. The lever lock has been able to draw so little air that at lever open a trickle flowed out only with difficulty. That is why they mostly stood around.
That's why I was in the new explicitly looking for a simple screw

I have the 0.75l variant, because it is simply easier to handle than the large canister.

Positive:
When cover two cups are screwed together, handy if you want to share times someone.
The pot keeps long warm, the closure is sealed.
The parts smelled from the first contact with hot water at no plasticky.

The start Difficulty:
When I got delivered the pot, I have, as always, soaked all plastic parts in boiling water. After cooling, I realized that water had penetrated into the screw. The gurgled happily and trickled water came out - not good. So I turned to the sender with a request for help.

The sender:
"Table ideas and ambience" has a simple German landline hotline and very flat out to negotiate for me with the alfi customer service. I got, thanks to the shipper without problems, delivered by Alfi a replacement lid and since then the pot is used virtually every day.

Since the first cover may have been a Monday model and the pot otherwise has no disadvantages, she gets 5 stars.
