Chef's Knife (large):
- Actually very good, not too big, not too small. Focus also fits. For meat perfectly usable. Vegetables can thus partially cut well.
- Shell protects against injuries during handle in the drawer
- For filleting rather unsuitable, therefore with me rarely in use
Utility Knife (Small):
- Usually sufficient for vegetables, really fast can be so but nothing crush
- For fruit denied the knife, in my opinion, completely. Here I have a direct comparison with a somewhat smaller diameter of the trademark twin - which is no longer as sharp and very old, but an apple can thus still snip to pieces much faster. Blame It on the one hand the blade shape, on the other hand the right-thick knife back. This means that the blade cuts Although fast, but is just not good to move further, because the blade is simply getting fatter.
- Due to the problems it already came to two cuts. When cutting (z. B. the apple), the blade comes out unexpectedly quickly and ended up in my fingers. No wonder. Initially, the blade is hardly pure in the apple pressing and then fixed Kracht course.
- Shell protects against injuries during handle in the drawer
Positive should be emphasized that you can throw the knife in the dishwasher. But you should avoid anyway ...
Overall, the diameter of the one or other purpose are already usable. An all-purpose knife or a real knife COOK Seeking in this set but in vain.
Most of the time I then reach back to my little red Zwilling knife. (Could this be here: -. As you can see also nice how narrow the blade Especially in harder fruit / vegetable is great).
Overall, therefore, "not bad" = 3 stars.
