The CI module works with almost all cards (also NDS!) And or in almost all TVs recorders. Using it is incredibly easy. I had never a CI module and it had a few minutes to use. You have the "Unicam Programmer" buy at the Unicam yet. Plug the Unicam into the programmer, download from the manufacturer's Web site, the latest software and play with the programmer on the Unicam. The whole process takes a few seconds. After the Unicam is ready!
I am KabelBW customer and have a Sony Bravia TV. The Unicam works so flawlessly!
Even if the cable or Satelittenanbieter a CI + and HD + module offering, should be advised to Unicam. Because with the "+" - modules they have unrestricted access to your Reciever / TV. To be able to prohibit the record individual programs or fast forwarding of advertising.
And Astra makes them among the HD channels RTL and Sat1 group already use !!
The Unicam module has not gratuity!
Incidentally, several Unicam are here on Amazon modules listed - sometimes with slightly different labeling. It should be said that there is only one module. So just choose the cheapest and most reputable providers in peace and it fits already!
