Feel / look:
The design is very simple. The outer surface is very smooth, a few drops running down would give the impression more reality. The LED is protected by a hood in the form of a flame, but this is not to see in operation.
The candle feels like wax to just touch. In weight a happy medium was found. Not too easy, that they knocked over easily, but not too hard (had unpleasant heavier in the hand).
Only when you remove the protective tape (my mother had this for weeks not noticed), the candles unfold their true vanilla scent. In 1 to 1.5m still subtly perceive.
Remote Control:
As can be seen in the picture, very cheap and simple. However, several non-compatible systems to collect above touched upon already with my mother and it would be free, each time demanding a high-quality FB there. Especially in the price region of significantly <10 / candle.
The tactile feedback of the buttons is soft, but still clearly palpable. The distance of 6 meters I can confirm. Since it is an infra-red FB, but visual contact is required.
The battery compartment can be opened with one hand difficult.
Features:
Here comes down, as shown in the description. The bulbs can be timed. This is useful when you, for example, provides a place where you can not see it themselves (as Fensterdeko example). However, the timer must always be started manually via FB. Other candles (usually more expensive) can be a day off as a timer.
Of the two light modes you can actually just use the lighter. The darker always raises the question "Is it now or not?" by itself. In bright mode, it is not blindingly bright, for ambient lighting, but I find the right place.
Likewise, for a ton is the candle mode. While other models flicker here irregularly, has a equally pulsating light here. It's annoying to life immensely.
CONCLUSION:
An article with weakness, but good value for money breaks it for me out again. For the price of just 20 I'd buy it again; Would you be more expensive, but I would have to take 2 1 Star deduct.
