Anticipation, I have previously used the Harmony One with it really hard to program me every now and then a lot of some processes. The change to the new Smart Control had to integrate the background, the iOS devices and especially to control the Amazon Fire TV.
The interior of the Smart Control together with hub, etc. was super easy! Thanks to Logitech account I could import all the data of the Harmony One and correct, if necessary. The great ... right away even an existing problem from the Harmony One time with a time works fine (for whatever reason).
The setting is great out of hand and can be done most easily by software on the computer. After you finished the app must only start on the iPad, for example, and set off on a sync ... (Alternatively, connect the hub via USB, which of course would be too cumbersome). And everything is ready! Even the remote control is of course ready to use! Alternatively, you can also set up everything via App!
The great, my Philips Hue system was found and integrated immediately. Sorry but you can change no color and / or even link the lamps with actions ... one of the reasons why I have deducted a star (More to follow). But a start! According to Logitech as to gradually consequences improvements!
The app has a great layout and is easy to use. Unfortunately, I still have a few weak points (unless someone teaches me better), so I just ... just overall a point deducted in connection with the (admittedly still quite new) Fire TV bothers me only the lack of language integration .. . a smart phone has a Micro and I also have a button found in the voice input system of Fire TV brings me ... just will not be included, which just anything can be searched .... I hope this will follow soon! According to a statement from Logitech itself, this feature is not planned :-(
That was it but also already to criticism. The Big Brother Ultimate longer can (the remote control) should be clear at this price! I find for under 90 euros the stroke with a remote control is absolutely sufficient mallet! I see no reason to date to the Ultimate switch.
