3. Experiment: Eizo EV2436WFS
1 bright pixel errors, lightweight IPS Glow in a corner, too much screen glare, it glittered too strong -> after careful consideration back
Otherwise I found the device but very nice, good operating concept, stable, good power-saving methods and perfect for my needs far abzuregeln in brightness.
4. Experiment: Because of the really good equipment concept from the unit of the 3rd test: Eizo EV2736WFS
No pixel error, no backlight bleeding and on top (almost) NO IPS Glow and considered himself extremely sideways, tip!

The antireflection coating is excellent, there is virtually no visible glint. The window in the background, although I can now recognize as such, but in direct comparison with the strong anti-glare Dell in 2407, the reflection is even darker. I think here you have found a good solution for all requirements.
The apparently 200Hz frequency of LED lighting I can not see either directly or I react, even after prolonged use. I will often use the monitor below the critical limit of 20 for the 100 Helligkeitseinstellwerte and since I had some concerns. But even the smaller 2436 before I could not perceive.
Right now I write the text in almost dark room with a setting of 10. Finally, a monitor, which can be reduced so far!
The screen is almost black and even when I turn off the last remnant of light in the room, I can see that he is on just yet.
At 10 no IPS Glow, not extremely from the side.
With 23 (limit of the speed regulation without ambient light) I can perceive very slight IPS Glow, mind you in completely dark rooms and 30cm distance. As the brightening very evenly distributed rather reddish and not light blue as with other devices, however, this is really normal.
At 50cm again nothing. The screen is now, of course, easy to see in a dark environment at stock brightness 23. But nowhere lit some rest by the LED light at the corners.
I describe the reason in such detail because I feel that these effects of modern (IPS / LED) screens too little attention is paid. Finally, there was previously schonmal devices that could also be a good image, which are neither IPS Glow still appreciable Backlight Bleeding was. The 3 other devices and also my LG Monitor TV is not anything, but orders of magnitude worse in this respect, even the small Eizo! With the glow of U3014 I was able to illuminate the room almost at the darkest setting!
And I would have preferred to continue working with a scratched old display when let me in on it.
Illumination: Almost uniformly, perfectly adequate for me and I'm not uncritical ;-)
On the right side very slightly darker, about half of the right side, about 2 cm inward-reaching. At the bottom of the screen the LED lighting does not seem completely add rich, the last 5-10mm decrease in brightness, while others describe it as "Shadow".
But both visible just at the perception threshold and only with uniformly bright image content. It is not a professional monitor and to this last scrap of image perfection to get even, I will not give 2000 euros or more from.
A black desktop is absolutely uniformly dark, outstanding!
Color deviation across the screen:
Not even rudimentary, perfect, as the color temperature is turned on, and fit!
Sharpness:
I have the font size of 100 (24 increases and can read at slightly smaller font and equidistant everything just as "-16: 10) 110 (27" 9 -16). Consequently vertically longer as before fit on the screen. Therefore, I actually wanted to have a 16:10 screen in 30 inch. Unfortunately, there is in the acceptable quality previously not, at least not as a power-saving LED version.
Image Quality:
HD videos look really good, skin tones fit properly. Opposite the large Dell U3014 maybe not quite as highly luminous and brightly colored, but maybe that's just as well.
Compared to the old Dell with PVA but already a significant improvement.
Connections:
Well, since there's not much to describe ...
At Dell, I had even used the analog video connections. But that was to be honest, never really convincing. The PIP display of 4: 3 material was stretched in the width, the video quality a gross impertinence, VGA 50Hz frame rate (special quad image splitter of Grand) not really usable and as seen actually more scandalized used as satisfactory.
Both terminals of the Eizo function properly, I use now permanently display the port of the processor's HD4000 graphics, which seems to function properly. Fast enough that's all, I'm not a gamer ...
For video, etc. Now comes yet a smaller IPS monitor / TV from LG for use where the Glowen not disturbing, because here rarely dunke images to be reproduced.

Thanks Eizo that your real keys rather these contactless nonsense used. The LG with these "keys" makes me often infuriating :-(
Only softly lit they might have been, but I was able to get help with small self-luminous Aufklebepunkten.
Very nicely solved is the direct operation of volume and backlight via specially existing keys. One need not descend into the depths of the menus for it.
From other is criticism that the brightness is reduced too much with the automatic in both Eizo. I find, however, that it mainly regulates the right dosage and nice and slow and no discernible stages. That has not been easy clapped's device to fill the feature list, but has been carefully sized and tested!
Mechanics:
Outstanding! Nothing is loose, very wide setting range, absolutely stable due to the heavy weight, good workmanship.
Unusual, but well thought out are the very narrow tapered top and side screen enclosures, as this may reflect nothing. Only the lower edge is probably a little wider for stability reasons and reflects slightly despite a matte finish. Since Velvet adhesive film comes on it and then even that is gone. But not to be understood here wrong, that's when other monitors also so and most of the effect is more available and then on all 4 sides.
A small flaw represents for me the existing small open space between the display and housing. The however, is completely smooth and flat, at least in my copy.
One notes that the display is used here only relatively loosely, there is something to light pressure. Maybe that's also wanted to avoid in this display type and the tension could also be one reason why there are no exceptional deficits here.
A little disturbing perhaps the wet wipe, but after the scratches when old monitor I will proceed here in the future extreme caution or even me look for an optical anti-reflective glass, with which I covering the display.
I am glad to have caught an absolutely satisfactory specimen and can others who do not have this happiness, only strengthen to it as often order until big grin on his face shows when switching ;-)
While the hope is low that manufacturers respond, rather the device is then used in a less critical customers end up, but many more ways to protest they did not as a customer.
The PRAD test I had shortly before still worried and can confirm the positive results it substantially. Only with the difference that my device still felt a little better.
