The 920 is much smaller, very light and has the best display I've ever seen. My wife thought at first I should settle once the demo sticker with the numbers printed but that was the "live" image.
The battery life is great. Finally no more after each run immediately to the power outlet and a marathon or an Olympic triathlon is now feasible even for normal people with the battery at full recording.
Super is the new chest strap wearing very comfortable (even for stronger runners) and the GPS Einlogzeiten. The 305 was good enough for me personally but that is now once again become significantly faster.
What disappointed me was the barometer for the height measurement that is not. With the GPS and not calibrated manually and therefore indeed good deltas but provides virtually unusable absolute values for height (A change in the weather has my house overnight 130m lowered ...). I hope here there is an update. Currently, the pure GPS value of 305 was almost better ...
It bothers me a bit that one to screen for sports not "finish" can. I'm afraid that one in eg obstacle courses or the like sometimes comes to the key and the clock will stop accidentally or switches.
Garmin Connect is unfortunately still analyzing the data is not really usable (ie you still can not delete Rounds from an activity). The old offline Training Center works but still can not read the newer values. (Shame). But this is a general problem of all Garmin watches and not only the 920th
Now I'm curious what comes to updates (clock and website) next year. The potential for 5 stars is the clock.
'm Still very satisfied and would recommend it despite the high price ambitious athletes or data Freaks
(Not purchased at the Amazon got for Christmas)
Update 1/17/2015:
Meanwhile I did some activities with the newer software 2.64 (Beta) and here the barometer problem is almost fixed and the height data are up to a real failure in extreme weather now significantly better than with the 305 without barometer. I hope that it with the next official release is quite OK then.
Oh, and now has the clock also a Skifahrmodus (exit) I could not test because the snow is missing but that could be of interest. Bin on a comparison with iSKI excited when times during the weekend is nice weather and snow.
