Alpha Protocol, why?

Alpha Protocol, why?

Alpha Protocol (uncut) (computer game)

Customer Review

Before I bought the game, I once read the reviews here, as some back and forth I decided to buy it. Many describe that you only thought to have made a bad buy and find the game but then great. For me it is similar but you really begs the question what of Alpha Protocol could have been if not there some bugs would disrupt the flow of the game badly. First I get the negative points and then to the good stuff.

Negative are:

Although the graphics are but already badly getting old (Unreal Engine 2.5 mod), there are at me often to evil graphic pop-ups that interfere with the flow of the game massively.

My PC:

Windows 7
AMD 4600+
2GB RAM
Club 3D Radeon 3850 OC

Well my PC is older but so I can eg: Metro 2033, Just Cause 2, Assassins Creed 2 at a resolution of 1610x1080 on medium details stutter much gamble as Alpha Protocol.

I hope the game's performance is enhanced with a patch.

The 2 negative point:

The sub-title run but partly bad quickly so that you have to concentrate very to follow the story and make its decision.

The 3 negative point:

If you want guns, buy stuff etc must select the computer "Clearing House". It takes sometimes very long until I am in the menu and when I'm in it jerky and increased partially.

The 4 negative point:

Opponents AI is partially bad "dummm". An example: An opponent tries permanently to run through the wall and shoot me through the wall ....

The 5 negative point:

The graphics are no longer current.

The 6 negative point:

The control is inaccurate and hooked

The negative point 7:

In the mini game where you have to hack the computer, you right code block with the mouse must because control what happens really inaccurate and only with delay.

The negative point 8:

You can not really sneak or it comes with a lot of boom boom ahead easier and faster

Now to as positive points:

Point 1:

The story is really well done and fits perfectly with the setting agent. Although one can not speak of a story ....

.... Point 2:

Your Weapon Is Your Choice ... The decisions you meet changed a story, really ingenious feature does what also because by playing the main attraction of a farther.

Point 3:

The English voice acting is really well done and each of the voices for each character fits.

Item 4:

The different places and their settings.

Item 5:

The relationships that can be built to the characters.

Item 6:

Lose eponymous hero with which one goes through hell.

Item 7:

The "tuning" of the arms with all sorts of parts

Item 8:

Improving the character in different points so that he can sneak around better, can carry more ammunition etc.

It is really frustrating to see the Alpha Protocol can have a top hit. There are moments when I zocke the game, as I would prefer to take the keyboard and since hew developers in the head because the game again in a tricky situation where little ammunition jerky and but one reason it goes I zocke then the game continues because a story captivates with its great expressions that you decide yourself with the screen. It takes a lot of patience and a certain frustration tolerance to not constantly be tempted to throw for Pc from the window. I hope for the game's it as soon as possible comes out a patch which removes the worst bugs, because as you play the game with a laughing and a crying eye.

Much game atmosphere ... Rank: 4/5
