I bought this week the Epson Stylus CX3600 identical and must say that I am extremely surprised by the speed and quality of copies. The volume during printing or scanning is pleasantly quiet. The driver of epkowa (googling times after epkowa Avasys) for the smooth operation of the printer in Linux are excellent. However, I advise beginners Linux from the scanner driver of epkowa from first. You can also operate the scanner with the drivers for the Epson Stylus CX3200 in SANE, and are unbeatable in quality and speed for the price. My recommendation for all who seek a really good while fast inkjets / scanner works great with Linux.
