Long story short: you go for large files an average of 33 MB / s on the line - previously it was about 10 MB / s. As though something is despite overhead theoretically it (1), but what the heck, and felt compared to before, it is very fast. A worthwhile 'investment', otherwise makes the Lenovo his job properly.
Windows 7 recognizes the adapter by the way automatically and installed the latest driver itself. The driver CD you do not need for it.
(1) Supplement 27.12.13: Since an automatic driver update, the speed has improved to an average of 53 MB / s, which is probably likely to be the maximum, which comes with USB 2.0 - clean!
