We made many years our fries in the oven, but they were never 100% happy with it. In order to acquire a deep fryer, we have always pushed for the necessary parking space and cumbersome cleaning - until we discovered the Rotofritteuse of DeLonghi. And after the first fry fries was clear: never again oven fries! So delicious fries there are not even in the chip shop. The slanted rotating basket deep fryer comes out with 1.2 liters of oil. At first we used the expensive peanut oil, now we use normal inexpensive cooking oil from Lidl and taste no difference. The fryer heats up quickly and the result is great. One can not fry large quantities of fried food at once, but 500g fit without problems purely. Most things are indeed done fried also within a few minutes, so you can do several "courses" in succession. Super easy to clean. The oil can be drained by a fold-out hose. Then the oil pan with Spüliwasser clean that you can drain through the hose into the sink then also. For the tube a cleaning brush is, if remnants of the deep-fried should get stuck in it. The basket can be put in the dishwasher. A weak point I have to perform, however: the connecting cable is 80 cm short. So if the socket to be a little further from the desired approved location away, you have to extend. It's annoying and would not need to be. But aside from the short cable we are completely satisfied with the DeLonghi Rotofritteuse.
