Da Ansmann is a renowned manufacturer of batteries and chargers, I did not hesitate to test these batteries and I have to say that they are just as good as the Eneloops of Sanyo.
Although the capacity of the batteries with low self-discharge is usually slightly lower than that of standard NiMh batteries it is worthwhile to create this type of battery, because devices such as digital cameras and run considerably longer so similar.
The maxE of Ansmann are therefore preferable a real alternative to the Eneloops and definitely normal batteries. Never again supposedly "charged" batteries out of a drawer, which after a few minutes then empty, super suitable for remote controls.
Only one request: do not use cheap chargers that work with timer control (usually to acknowledge loading times of 10-14 hours), here prefer to invest a few euros more for a controller-controlled charger that analyzes each battery and quasi " bite-size "invites. Good equipment can be found by Ansmann, Varta or z. B. Conrad Electronic.
