Use this closed headphones for several weeks now and have not been disappointed. The Philips SHP 2700 delivers a clean balanced sound with different types of music and is operated on a PC, YAMAHA SONY amplifier and cassette deck. Frankly, I did not expect so good sound (especially with classical pieces). For me full marks and a strong buy recommendation.

The ear cups may be a little softer and a little better finish. At higher volumes, the sound escapes out what people can be annoying in the area.
