The designation "aluminum case" does not reflect reality: If the frame is aluminum, the panels are made from wood (particleboard to be precise) covered with a plastic covering. Simply lift the trim foam interior to see that. The hardware (hard disks in my case) is well protected from shocks in cells easy to cut. For cons, the crush resistance or a fall from a significant height is not one that could be obtained with a briefcase full aluminum. This case is suitable for my use only indoors but I would advise against a priori, given its construction "alu + wood" for use "fighter" with photo material. The finish does not call for criticism.
