For me was similar no case with hinged lid in question, as I simultaneously also a charging station (->) bought to load the Xperia Z2 via the magnetic contacts.
The sheath is fit and fits perfectly. She is barely noticeable and the Z2 fits comfortably in your hand. All ports and buttons (except the Micro-SD slot) are available. With this envelope the Z2 fits easily in the linked by me charging station. But meantime I was also with another envelope check (leather cover), and this fit into the charging station. But at issue here, but the envelope.
Disadvantage of this casing is of course that the display is not protected. But one then requires a separate screen protector. A small drawback is that not all edges are fully protected at the front (for that there are the one star deduction). This could have been possibly still can do something better. My Z2, however, has already survived several falls with this case easily.
