I bought the new Tamrom 18-270 me the filter; primarily as a protective lens. I accidentally bought a Sky-filter instead of a UV filter, but because I am guilty. The quality of the filter I find very bad! The glass is not seated firmly in the frame. It can even turn it! Probably so it fogs up quickly. I had used the lens together with the filter in the tropics. With my other lenses (with filters from other manufacturers) I never had problems with it. It is for me so clearly to the Hama-filter.
Can only advise against the purchase. I would Minus Star forgiven if it were possible.
