++ Packaging
Typical HP printer packaging! Inside everything sorted neatly and can be found immediately any mitgeflieferte material. Everything has its place. Very neat.
Noticed disturbing me is this only that the tape - so that nothing falls apart during transport - were spread nicely on the printer itself. Okay, clearly, this must be ... But I absolutely want to use the printer operation :).
++ Setting up and installing the printer
Really negative here is that HP has settled in this printer _no_ USB cable. So necessarily one separately (plug A to B connector should that be ...). Plugging the power cord is here really just routine.
To install is to say overall that it really is very simple and understandable for everyone. Here I can not understand why some people write in their reviews that the HP software is a disaster then. I use Vista Business x64. Everything works fine. For the installation, however, I use not the enclosed CD's, but I have downloaded the latest versions of the website ([...]).
If there is someone here somehow has problems, let him look at the small screen to the printer, because each step is presented via video. This is really easy!
Print The compartmentalisation for plain paper, photo paper and CD / DVD is awesome. On the top shelf printed documents come out, including a professional comes in the photo paper and again one finds among the plain paper and the template for printing CD / DVD's his place. So stowed really clean.
++ Conclusion
In complete to see is the printer for its first 5 hours with me a true winner in price / performance. Really amazing what you get for your money here.
The inks (XXL packs - Black, Tricolor) cost is not really much. You get to the 20-25 + shipping the Internet for each. In the media market they currently cost once 30 and once 34th
Unfortunately, HP has settled no printer cable here I somehow can not understand but okay, that's about the only negative thing I have discovered until now. But I think I'll not much wrong with the device found.
I had previously schonmal a printer from HP ... jetz again. Class equipment.
