- Packaging: no cardboard. The unit was just wrapped in a closed rigid foam protection with the film; all in a reinforced casing. Olé! - The device: no external fault. Beautiful facade brushed aluminum. The connection is faultless. The volume knob is running well without a hitch. A small blue light draws the outline. Power is supplied with a 2-pin plug and an adapter for taking some unknown country because it is not round and does not fit into a wall outlet (or other) French. We have to change the cord. That of an old radio did the trick. - Sound: The device is connected to the sound portion of the motherboard of my PC. I used Yamaha speakers recovery and basic cable for a test. I have not used any DAC. I read MP3, FLAC, VIDEO, music on the Internet. The camera delivers clear sound, powerful and very clean. The soundstage is wide and detailed with serious present (by forcing the volume a bit anyway) and mid / treble convincing. By replacing the speakers (Eltax Monitor III or BOSTON A26), one should have a good and discreet tight budget together. This is an all-digital amplifier with limited connectivity, but worth the trip. The low price allows testing without regret.
