Anyone who has photographed a while with a full sized lens will explore with this lens a whole new camera feel, because this lens makes the otherwise bulky DSLR a whole piece portable and you take it easy with often.
+ It is damn thin and light
+ The sharpness is great
+ With maximum aperture of 2.8 it achieved top results, you do not have dim
+ Good for portraits suitable
+ Makes surprisingly good shots at close range (flowers etc)
+ Feels very high quality
+ Unbeatable price-performance ratio
Too bad that it does not create more Canon lenses in this price range with these qualities to bring to market.
The classic (50mm 1.8) Incidentally, I have hardly used after I bought this lens because the 50s twice as large and the open aperture 1.8 brings little if the overall image quality is optimal only by stopping down to 2.8.
For this, the autofocus is barely audible in this objective and not as annoying rattles like the Canon 50 1.8.
So you buy this lens! you will therefore have a lot of fun and attention-getter on your extremely compact DSLR.
