First I have to say that I've never heard aware Metalcore and also never heard Killswitch Engage, and then rather in passing hearing. In the area of hardcore I could mention any band. But what the guys deliver here's a crusher, a steamroller to the next. And then these hooks. So overall I was flashed so far only with System of a Down. It is particularly interesting when you have heard only the first two albums to date (debut, Alive or ...) and the change in looks (also vocally in Jesse, the clean vocals simply has a certain something). The albums with Howard I'll lead with the mind sometimes. Beautiful lyrics, great songwriting, good sound. One guitarist / producer really seems to be an all-rounder. Conclusion: I am a beginner has cut away's.
